From the ownerSince 2016

A family craft, not a franchise.

My grandfather began cleaning chimneys in Washington with a truck, a set of brushes, and a commitment to leave every hearth in better shape than he found it. We still hold ourselves to that standard.

When you call, you talk to our family, not an answering service, and the technician who shows up is someone we trained ourselves. Our name stands behind every job.

FAQ

Questions we get asked most often

Something else? Call (771) 999-2016.

How do you protect my home while you work?

We spread drop cloths from the entrance to the hearth, put on shoe covers, seal off the fireplace opening, and keep a HEPA vacuum running the entire time.

How frequently should a chimney be cleaned?

Once a year for most households that burn wood on a regular basis. If you go through more than a cord per season or notice black flakes in the firebox, schedule a sweep earlier.

What is covered in an inspection?

We run a camera through the flue liner, examine the crown, cap, flashing, damper, and firebox, and provide a written report with photographs.

How far ahead should I book before winter?

Late summer or early fall is ideal. The schedule fills up fast after the first cold snap, so booking by September keeps you ahead of the rush.

Do you service wood stoves as well?

Absolutely — wood and pellet stoves get a complete cleaning and safety inspection, from the stovepipe through the baffle down to the door gasket.
